Avant de prendre les robes, il a travaill\u00e9 dans les soins palliatifs, la technologie, les organisations de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et la gestion \u2014 une diversit\u00e9 d&#8217;exp\u00e9riences humaines qui continue de nourrir son enseignement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8ec158be gb-headline-text\">Ayant pris les robes de Bhik\u1e63u dans la tradition tib\u00e9taine en 2006, le V\u00e9n. Gendun a consacr\u00e9 neuf ann\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tude philosophique au monast\u00e8re de Nalanda en France, avec une formation compl\u00e9mentaire en Inde, au N\u00e9pal et au Myanmar, enrichie de plus de quatre ann\u00e9es de retraite solitaire au cours desquelles il a approfondi les s\u016btra et tantra tib\u00e9tains ainsi que la tradition therav\u0101da de la for\u00eat birmane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-18d5307d gb-headline-text\">Depuis dix-huit ans, il enseigne la philosophie bouddhiste, la psychologie et la m\u00e9ditation \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle internationale. Reconnu comme le 14e dala\u00ef-lama, il a assum\u00e9 toutes les responsabilit\u00e9s de son poste en 1950. En 1959, il s&#8217;est exil\u00e9 en Inde. Il r\u00e9side aujourd&#8217;hui \u00e0 Dharamsala et est le chef spirituel du peuple tib\u00e9tain.
