De m\u00eame, nos sentiments, nos pens\u00e9es et nos perceptions vont et viennent sans l&rsquo;intervention d&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0homoncule\u00a0\u00bb ou d&rsquo;un petit homme dans notre t\u00eate. L&rsquo;obsession de notre histoire personnelle, de nos d\u00e9sirs et de nos aversions non seulement obscurcit notre conscience de tout ce que font nos agr\u00e9gats, mais entrave \u00e9galement leur fonction en leur fournissant des informations erron\u00e9es.<br\/><br\/>La confiance s&rsquo;acquiert en apprenant \u00e0 conna\u00eetre les agr\u00e9gats et \u00e0 savoir comment ils fonctionnent dans quelles circonstances. Savoir ce dont ils ont besoin permet de leur construire un environnement sain dans lequel ils exercent de mieux en mieux une fonction \u00e0 la fois habile et fiable. C&rsquo;est la t\u00e2che d&rsquo;un yogi de d\u00e9duire ces choses principalement \u00e0 partir de sa propre exp\u00e9rience ; les mots d&rsquo;autrui ne peuvent pas d\u00e9crire exactement la situation telle qu&rsquo;elle est. La shamatha bas\u00e9e sur l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence d\u00e9finie est une voie de gu\u00e9rison de la relation avec soi-m\u00eame. Comme le dit l&rsquo;Uttaratantra, le soi le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 est le non-soi.
